Irish Blessing
May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rain fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand

Welcome to St Patrick's Parish Sutherland
The Parish of St Patrick's is located in the southern Suburbs of Sydney and is a Parish of the Sydney Archdiocese. The large & vital community we share today came to life through the faithful commitment over the years of clergy, religious & laity actively & creatively working together. More & more people are aware of a sense of belonging both through their faith experience in the Church, through our Parish Primary School & College & through of a variety of community groups & activities designed to meet the day to day needs of our community. Keeping pace with busy lifestyles & developing technology this website is just another way in which we are able to extend the welcome & hospitality of St Patrick's, offer news & information to the people of our Parish - whether new to the area, long time residents; visitors catholic & non-catholic; to the wider Shire community& beyond. In the same way that I am always pleased to meet & greet people after Masses, I extend now a heartfelt welcome to you through our website - we hope you enjoy browsing the site. Please feel free to make yourself known to me. It is our hope & prayer that faithful to our Mission this Parish continues to be a sign of love & source of support to all who worship here. Fr John Knight
St Patrick’s Parish acknowledges and honours the Gweagal People of the Dharawal Nation as the original custodians of this land. |
